I completed my law degree a few years ago and I have a passion for Intelligence (National Security). I am self-employed, plus raising my child. Now, I would like to pursue my ambition of becoming an intelligence analyst. I have applied to Federal jobs (referred a few times. Still waiting for a response), but I would like to try for Lockheed Martin. I have read (I don't know whether this is true or not) it is virtually impossible to get an entry level job without a security clearance. So here is my question - to get my "foot in the door", should I apply for compliance/legal related jobs, and somehow pursue an intelligence job once I'm already in? Or, is it possible to apply directly without having a security clearance. I would appreciate any further information. Thank you!
