I applied for a position and got an interview. I received a phone call 2 weeks later stating that they are interested and I will get an email with my salary and everything. It has been 2 weeks since that phone call. I tried to follow up, but the recruiter and hiring manager have not responded. I am wondering if I am still under consideration or not.

Hello fellow job seekers,
I have a question regarding LM's hiring process. I have submitted my resume and applied online for a NON SECURITY CLEARANCE JOB. I went in for two rounds of interviews and I have received an email to fill out another, more thorough, online application; which I'm guessing is a background check of some sort.
Anyone know how thorough this background check is? Some of the fields were answered to the best of my memory (such as dates that go back several years, etc) and am worried if it could disqualify me in the running. Otherwise, my history seems pretty clean, no criminal background, etc.
Anyone have any experience with this? I'm guessing since its a non security clearance position, it wouldn't be that thorough?...but I'm not sure.

Please any one advise on this
I got a job offer and part of deal was that I had to be able to get security clearance! I used to have public trust and it took them 3 months to gave me the clearance any ways I signed the company paper in order for them to make me a log on id so then I go on line and fill out this long 30 pages which I did before . So in their form ( the company security form because it's not DoD yet ) they asked about my citizenship so I'm U.S. citizen born here but here the point they asked if my parents live out side of USA so I put down my parents live in the Middle East and turned in my form less than 48 hours the company security denied my access without any reason ! The hr woman told me she doesn't know but the security manger told me it is very lengthy process ! So what kind of investigation is done less less than 2 days to deny my ability to even fill out forms for DoD??
Please any one any input ?
The only thing they knew about me at that point was that my parents were in the Middle East from the company form ! Nothing was done yet by government !!

I was flown out to Orlando last week in regards to a Sr. Software Engineer position that I applied for (E1073). I got great feedback from the two hiring managers that I interviewed with and was even asked by one of them if I would consider leading more junior developers in addition to having purely technical responsibilities. Of course I told him definitely.
So, a few days have went by, and I suddenly see a new job submissions for a Software Engineer (E1072) pop up in my list of job submissions (on April 13). Strange because I did not apply for this role myself. It looks as if HR added it to my profile. Any clue what's going on ?

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had any information about how the hiring process works at LM? I heard about a summer intern opportunity through someone who works at LM and gave them my resume. A few days later I was contacted directly by the Hiring Manager and had a phone interview with them the next day. The Hiring Manager said that the next step was to have my resume "tracked" by the HR department. I was then contacted by HR to fill out the application for the Job Posting and then later to fill out an "Employment Application".
Does anyone know what I should expect to happen next? If the Hiring Manager didn't think I was a good fit for the position, would they have let me know in the phone interview, or not of recommended that the HR department reach out to me for the rest of the job process?

Hello all,
I applied online earlier today (6/3) to a LM position that was posted on 6/2. Late this evening, when checking on the job after logging in, the job status has changed to "on hold". Also, the particular job description and Req ID are no longer listed in available jobs. Am I out of luck here? I would love to imagine that my application was so mind-blowing that they immediately closed the position, but I'm guessing this was a mandatory short-term post...maybe they were already considering an internal hire?
Can anyone shed a little light/experience on this?

Hi Recruiter Bob, I'm a new grad and was contacted by an LM recruiter yesterday asking me for my interest in a position in Ft. Worth as well as some questions (Graduation date, GPA, willing to relocate, etc..). I emailed him and applied for the req. he specifically contacted me about. Is this equivalent to a pre-screen before an interview?
Also, I checked my job submission status today and I saw that two more job submissions that I did not apply for were added to my list but they say "Cancelled." Is this still a good sign/am I being looked at for the position?

I really need help with this matter. I wanted to find out more information specifically about this credit and backround check. What are they checking for? Does anyone have any details about what they are looking for? The reason I ask is that I've been pretty much offered a guaranteed position to come to work for them Full Time as financial analyst. But I have recently filled bankcruptcy under chapter 7. Case just got closed few months ago.
I am finished with drug test for this offer. Since this reqired secret clearance. And in this form they do ask about if i filled for bankruptcy in pass.
But at the same time Im a little apprehensive. Would that be negative impact on my offer.

I currently accepted a job offer from LM I'm currently going through the sterling pre employment screening. They've asked for a few things check stubs things of that nature. But the company that is handling my travel arrangements has gotten in contact with me about setting up my account. Should I take this as good sign. It's been an week since I've heard from LM would they inform the relocation company I'm good to go before me? Or should I still hold off on giving notice on my current job until I get the call from LM.
